Managing Director Bayer Pakistan visits Kidney Centre patients with colourful greetings

Karachi, August 30, 2013 (PPI-OT): Children of Bayer Pakistan’s employees showed their emotions towards the suffering kidney patients by sending colourful hand-made greeting cards with the Managing Director on his recent visit to The Kidney Centre.

At this occasion, Mr. Muneeb Ur Rehman, MD Bayer Pakistan met with the CEO, Mrs. Abida Ahmed and took a tour of The Kidney Center, visiting different wards and departments. In continuation with its on-going support, Bayer Pakistan also made a donation of PKR 200,000/- and distributed fruit baskets with the greeting cards to the patients.

Research has shown that one in four Pakistani citizens suffers from some form of kidney disease. Every year, thousands of the sick and needy find their way to The Kidney Centre Post Graduate Training Institute, Karachi for vitally needed treatment. More than 75% of the patients are in need of financial support. Since 1985, Bayer in Pakistan has been helping the Kidney Centre in achieving its goal of saving lives.
