Karachi, Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab made a visit to the residence of Hafiz Naeem Rehman, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, on Thursday, where he expressed wishes for Rehman’s speedy recovery and emphasized the need for political tolerance and cooperation among the city’s political parties for the betterment of Karachi.
According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, during his visit, Mayor Wahab highlighted the importance of setting aside political differences to work collaboratively towards the city’s development. The mayor’s gesture of visiting Rehman, despite the political differences between their respective parties, reflects a significant move towards fostering a more cooperative political environment in Karachi. Wahab’s actions are in line with Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s philosophy that politics should not be driven by hatred and discrimination.
