Meeting of the Inquiry Commission on Abbottabad Operation held

Islamabad: A meeting of the Inquiry Commission on Abbottabad Operation was held on 21st December, 2011 in the Cabinet Division under the Chairmanship of Mr. Justice Javed Iqbal, Former Senior Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the President of the Commission. The meeting was attended by Mr. Ashraf Jehangir Qazi, Lt. Gen. ® Nadeem Ahmed and Mr. Abbas Khan, IGP (Retd) Members of the Commission.

The Commission held a detailed interactive session with former Foreign Minister, Foreign Secretaries/Ambassadors including Mr. Shah Mahmud Qureshi, Mr. Inam ul Haq, Mr. Riaz Khokhar, Mr. Riaz M Khan and Dr. Maleeha Lodhi.

Mr. Roedad Khan a former Bureaucrat and Lt. Gen. (R) Talat Masood a defence analyst also appeared before the Commission and gave their perspective of the Abbottabad incident.
