Minister Ahsan Iqbal Advocates for Strategic Collaboration to Boost Pakistan’s Economy

Islamabad: Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, Ahsan Iqbal, has called for unified efforts to enhance exports, increase agricultural yields, develop industrial clusters, and tackle structural issues to propel Pakistan’s economic growth. These statements were made during a meeting with representatives from the global management consulting firm Kearney, focusing on bolstering private investment initiatives in Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Iqbal detailed the 5Es Framework during the meeting a core component of the National Economic Transformation Plan designed to stabilize and stimulate future growth. This framework centers on five key areas: exports, economic growth, energy, education, and equality. Iqbal also stressed the significance of digital transformation, energy self-sufficiency, and equitable social sector development.

Kearney, engaged by the Ministry, is set to collaborate closely with government officials and other stakeholders to pinpoint support areas and provide advisory on approvals and projects, aiming to leverage their expertise to advance economic stability and growth in Pakistan. Minister Iqbal emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to reach the nation’s strategic objectives effectively.
