Minister Muqam Denounces Campaign Against Pakistan’s Armed Forces

Islamabad: Minister of States and Frontier Region, Engineer Amir Muqam, has publicly condemned a continuing malicious campaign against Pakistan’s Armed Forces. In a press conference held today, he specifically criticized a political party for actions that he described as detrimental to national stability.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Muqam accused the PTI party of pursuing destabilizing tactics, reminiscent of the events of May 9, which involved attacks on state institutions such as the burning of the Radio Pakistan building and the defacement of memorials dedicated to martyrs. He praised the Armed Forces for their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and their ongoing service to the nation.

Further addressing international incidents, Minister Muqam condemned the recent ransacking of the Pakistani Consulate in Germany, suggesting that those responsible seek to provoke conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan. On domestic matters, he discussed the situation in Bannu, affirming the right of political parties to protest but condemning any actions that politicize peace and the economy or target state institutions. He called for the formation of a Joint Investigation Team to examine the Bannu incident thoroughly.

Concluding, Muqam expressed optimism about Pakistan’s trajectory toward economic stability, credited to the efforts of the Prime Minister and the Army Chief. He emphasized the importance of united efforts for the peace and progress of the country.
