Minister Tanveer Ensures Fertilizer Availability for Kharif Season

Islamabad, Minister for Industries and Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain, has issued directives to ensure the availability of Urea and DAP fertilizers for farmers during the upcoming Kharif season. This announcement was made during a meeting with Punjab Minister for Agriculture, Syed Aashiq Hussain Kirmani, signaling a focused governmental effort to support agricultural development.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Hussain emphasized the government’s commitment to the welfare and improvement of agriculture. He highlighted that various measures have been taken to maintain an uninterrupted supply of gas to industries crucial for fertilizer production. Additionally, both federal and provincial governments will closely monitor the distribution process to prevent any profiteering and hoarding, with strict legal actions poised against those who engage in such practices.

This initiative reflects a broader strategy to promote agricultural prosperity and ensure that farmers receive necessary resources for a productive farming season.
