Lucknow, May 08, 2023 (PPI-OT): Three, including a minor girl and Dalit woman were raped, assaulted and sexually harassed in different Indian states. In a terrible case of brutality, a missing minor girl was raped and then her eyes were gouged out in Chhibramau of Kannauj district of BJP-ruled Indian state Uttar Pradesh.
In another horrific incident, the armed members of a caste Hindu Gujjar family gang-raped a 26-year-old Dalit woman in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh state over land dispute which was allocated by the government to Dalit family. As per FIR lodged by Dalit graduate woman at Karanwas Police Station said that eight armed men entered her home and assaulted her mother, father and cousin before gang-raping the graduate woman.
Another report said that a group of Vanniyars barged into the home of Radhika, a 30- years-old Dalit woman, and sexually harassed her in Saleem district of Tamil Nadu state.
