Mughal Energy Limited Completes Oversubscribed Share Issue on PSX

Karachi, Mughal Energy Limited has successfully completed its share subscription process on June 3 and 4, 2024, with investors subscribing to a total of 19,742,374 ordinary shares, exceeding the issue size of 19,411,000 shares. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the event marked a significant participation by accredited investors.

The offering was organized into various categories based on the number of shares. Notably, the smallest category for 500 shares attracted 18 applications totaling 9,000 shares, while the category for 1,000 shares saw 19 applications and 19,000 shares. The 2,000 shares category had seven applications for a total of 14,000 shares. The largest interest was observed in the category for shares above 2,000, which drew 11 applications and a substantial subscription of 19,700,374 shares.

The total amount raised through the subscription amounted to 330,487,372 PKR, highlighting the strong investor interest in Mughal Energy Limited’s offer.
