Muslim World League Secretary General Visits Pakistan, Discusses Unity and Peace with Prime Minister

Islamabad, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League, met with the Prime Minister at the Prime Minister House today. The visit, timed with Eid ul Fitr, facilitated discussions on strengthening the bond between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, promoting Islamic unity, and advocating for peace and inter-faith harmony.

According to Press Information Department, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude for Dr. Al-Issa’s efforts in portraying a true image of Islam globally and acknowledged the pivotal role of the Muslim World League in fostering unity among Muslims worldwide. He also conveyed his well wishes for King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, emphasizing Pakistan’s commitment to its relationship with Saudi Arabia.

The Secretary General lauded the Prime Minister for his dedication to enhancing Pakistan-Saudi relations and congratulated him on the outcomes of his recent Saudi visit. Dr. Al-Issa’s visit, scheduled from April 7 to April 15, 2024, underscores ongoing diplomatic engagements and shared initiatives between the two nations.
