Muzaffarabad Rally Commemorates Kashmiri Martyred Leaders

Muzaffarabad, A significant rally was held in Muzaffarabad to mark the martyrdom anniversaries of Mirwaiz Moulvi Mohammad Farooq and Abdul Ghani Lone, organized by Pasban Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the rally saw a large turnout, with participants chanting slogans for freedom and honoring the memories of Mirwaiz Farooq, Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone, and the martyrs of the Hawal incident. Starting from the district complex and concluding at Burhan Wani Shaheed Chowk, the procession featured banners with images of the martyrs, symbolizing their enduring legacy.

The event, led by Pasban Hurriyat Chairman Uzair Ahmed Ghazali along with other leaders, served to remind attendees of the longstanding struggle for political, religious, and social rights in Kashmir. Speakers at the rally detailed the events of May 21, 1990, and May 21, 2002, calling for continued dedication to the Kashmiri freedom movement.
