Pakistan Observes Day of Mourning for Iranian Helicopter Crash Victims

Islamabad, Pakistan is observing a national day of mourning to honor the memory of Iranian President Sayyed Ebrahim Raisi and other dignitaries who perished in a recent helicopter crash. The Pakistani government has declared this day to express solidarity with Iran, following the tragic event.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the decision for the mourning was made by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. In a gesture of respect and solidarity, the national flag will be flown at half-mast across Pakistan for the entirety of the day.
