Islamabad: Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Speaker chaired a meeting of Business Advisory Committee in the Parliament House to discuss the Business of the House for 38th Session of the National Assembly.
After thorough discussion, it was decided that the 38th Session of the National Assembly will continue till 20th January, 2012 and the sittings of the National Assembly will be held in evenings on Monday and Wednesday (in case of Cabinet Meeting) and in the mornings on the remaining days. It was also decided that the next session of the National Assembly will be convened on 15th February, 2012. It was also decided that legislative business and issues of public importance would be taken up for discussion, however, the question hour will not be held during the current session due to non-completion of mandatory time period of 15-days.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah, Minister for Religious Affairs, Mr. Maula Bukhsh Chandio, Minister for Law & Justice, Syed Naveed Qamar, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Mr. Ghous Bux Mahar Minister for Privatization, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Minister for Professional and Technical Training, MNAs Mr. Qamar Zaman Kaira, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Dr. Abdul Kadir Khanzada, Mr. Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan, Nawab Abdul Ghani Talpur, Ms Jamila Gillani. Sheikh Aftab Ahmad, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Ch. Muhammad Barjees Tahir and Mr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary.
