National Assembly Standing Committee on Inter Provincial Coordination meets

Islamabad, February 27, 2018 (PPI-OT): A meeting of the Standing Committee on Inter Provincial Coordination held today in the Committee Room No.7, Parliament House, Islamabad, under the Chairmanship of Mr. Abdul Qahar Khan Wadan, MNA to scrutinize budgetary proposals relating to PSDP in respect of the Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination and its attached departments for the next financial year 2018-19.

The Secretary, Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination apprised the Committee that there are 11 on-going projects costing Rs.2071.546 million, 15 new projects (un-approved) of Pakistan Sports Board worth Rs.1241.64 million and 02 projects of M/o IPC amounting to Rs.88.000 were put before the Committee for its approval. The total budgetary proposals regarding PSDP for the FY-2018-19 were Rs.3401.185 million. After detailed discussion and certain observations of the Committee, the budgetary proposals were unanimously approved.

The report of the Sub-Committee was submitted by Sardar Muhammad Shafqat Hayat Khan, MNA/Convener before the Committee. The Committee after a detailed deliberation approved the recommendations of the Sub-Committee with slight amendments.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Khalid Hussain Magsi, Syed Kazim Ali Shah, Mr. Mujahid Ali, Sardar Muhammad Shafqat Hayat Khan, Begum Tahira Bukhari, Mr. Aftab Shahban Mirani, Mr. Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan, and Mr. Siraj Muhammad Khan MNAs, Federal Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination and Senior Officers from Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination.
