Naval Chief Admiral Ashraf Discusses Maritime Security in Romania

Islamabad: Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf recently visited Romania where he engaged in pivotal discussions with top Romanian military officials, including the Chief of Defence Staff and the Chief of the Romanian Navy. The talks focused on enhancing regional maritime security, strengthening bilateral military cooperation, and addressing professional matters of mutual interest.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his visit, Admiral Ashraf also addressed the National Defense University of Romania. He delivered a lecture on “Joint Maritime Defence,” emphasizing the critical role of naval forces in maintaining law and order at sea and advocating for combined efforts to address maritime challenges.

The visit underscores the ongoing commitment between Pakistan and Romania to collaborate on security issues and enhance their military relationships, particularly in the naval arena.
