No-Confidence Motion Filed Against AJK Prime Minister

Muzaffarabad: A no-confidence motion against Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, was moved with the speaker of the AJK Legislative Assembly today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the motion has been signed by 26 members of the AJK Legislative Assembly. The members have accused Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq of maladministration. They claim that his actions have not only eroded the confidence of the House but have also caused significant damage to the constitutional, ideological, and democratic framework of AJK.

The members proposing the motion have put forward Faisal Mumtaz Rathore of the PPP as a candidate for the leader of the House.
