Pakistan Advocates for Increased Concessional Financing for Sustainable Infrastructure at UN Event

Islamabad: At a recent event on Global Energy Interconnectivity and Transition for SDGs in New York, Pakistan called for enhanced concessional financing to support sustainable infrastructure development in developing nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Deputy Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN, Ambassador Usman Jadoon, emphasized the necessity for innovative financing mechanisms that would help developing countries build viable infrastructure projects. He stressed the importance of creating an enabling policy environment and attracting private capital to accelerate progress toward sustainable development goals.
