Pakistan and Azerbaijan Seek to Strengthen Defense Ties

Islamabad, In a diplomatic meeting held today, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, H.E Mr. Khazar Farhadov, met with Pakistan’s Minister for Defence, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, to discuss enhancing the defense cooperation between the two nations.

According to Press Information Department, during the meeting, Minister Asif emphasized the strategic importance of Azerbaijan, acknowledging its significant location, resources, and rapidly growing economy. He highlighted the deep-rooted historical, cultural, and religious ties that form the basis of the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

The Minister for Defence expressed a strong desire to advance defense relations and stressed the importance of ongoing high-level military and defense interactions to further solidify this partnership. The discussions underscored the potential benefits of increased cooperation in defense sectors for both countries.
