Pakistan and Belarus Aim to Strengthen Bilateral Ties through Parliamentary Engagement

Minsk: Speaker of the National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq, affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations with Belarus during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart, Igor Sergeyenko, in Minsk. The discussions centered on deepening parliamentary connections and mutual support in international forums.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Speaker Sadiq emphasized the importance of intensified parliamentary engagement as a key avenue for strengthening the relationship between the two nations. He also reiterated Pakistan’s support for Belarus, particularly in its efforts to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Belarusian Speaker Igor Sergeyenko expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s steadfast support at international levels. He also marked the visit of the Pakistani parliamentary delegation as a significant step towards fortifying the ties between Belarus and Pakistan.
