Pakistan and China Pledge Enhanced Security and Cooperation

Islamabad, In a meeting at Aiwan-e-Sadr, President Asif Ali Zardari and Mr Jiang Zaidong, the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, discussed strengthening counter-terrorism efforts and broadening bilateral relations to ensure the safety of Chinese nationals working in Pakistan.

According to Press Information Department, the discussions between President Zardari and Ambassador Jiang focused on mutual interests, particularly enhancing counter-terrorism cooperation and intelligence sharing to address security concerns. President Zardari committed to taking all necessary actions to safeguard Chinese personnel involved in various development projects across Pakistan, emphasizing the strong ties and strategic partnership between the two nations.
