Pakistan and Hungary Seek to Strengthen Bilateral Ties in Sixth Round of Political Consultations

Islamabad, In an effort to enhance diplomatic and economic relations, Pakistan and Hungary convened for the sixth round of Bilateral Political Consultations in Budapest today. This meeting provided a platform for both nations to review their bilateral relations and discuss significant regional and global developments.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Pakistani delegation was led by Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan, Additional Foreign Secretary for Europe, while the Hungarian side was headed by Deputy State Secretary Ambassador Lazlo Varadi. The consultations focused on maintaining and expanding the positive trajectory of the bilateral relationship, with both sides expressing a commitment to explore new areas of cooperation. During his visit, Ambassador Khan also held meetings with Hungarian officials including the State Secretary for Security Policy and Energy Security, Petar Szataray, and Deputy State Secretary for International Cooperation, Atilla Hidegh, discussing ways to deepen collaboration between the two countries.
