Pakistan and Jordan Strengthen Bilateral Ties with Focus on Trade and Education

Islamabad: Pakistan and Jordan are set to deepen their bilateral relations with an enhanced focus on trade, investment, and education. This commitment was reinforced during a meeting between Minister for Economic Affairs, Ahad Khan Cheema, and Jordanian Ambassador, Dr. Maen Khreasat, in Islamabad, where both parties discussed potential sectors for cooperation.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Cheema invited Jordanian businesses to capitalize on Pakistan’s burgeoning textile and garment industry, highlighting the significant demand for Pakistani cotton fabric. Ambassador Khreasat appreciated the benefits Jordanian students have received from the Pakistan Technical Assistance Program scholarships and expressed a desire to expand the academic fields included in this initiative. The meeting marks a significant step in diversifying and strengthening the economic and educational ties between the two nations, promising a fruitful future for bilateral cooperation.
