Islamabad: Pakistan and Kazakhstan have expressed a firm resolve to further expand and deepen their bilateral relations. These views were articulated by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and his Kazakh counterpart Murat Nurtleu during delegation-level talks held in Islamabad today.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, in his opening remarks, highlighted the significant scope for enhancing the bilateral relationship between the two countries and emphasized the potential to elevate it to a higher level. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peace, stability, development, and prosperity in the region, expressing the country’s desire for a strong partnership with Kazakhstan and other Central Asian States.
Murat Nurtleu, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, underscored the deep-rooted partnership and reliable friendship between the two nations. He noted the time-tested nature of Pakistan-Kazakhstan ties and the considerable potential for expanding this relationship. Nurtleu stated that the aim is to inject new energy into the bilateral relationship.
Subsequently, both Deputy Prime Ministers signed an action plan for cooperation between the foreign ministries of Pakistan and Kazakhstan, marking a significant step towards strengthening diplomatic ties.
