Pakistan and Kazakhstan Commit to Strengthened Bilateral Cooperation

Karachi, Pakistan and Kazakhstan have agreed to bolster their bilateral relationship, focusing on enhanced cooperation in multiple sectors, including military and strategic areas. This resolution came during discussions in Islamabad between Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin and Pakistan’s Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif. The talks centered on shared interests in regional and international spheres and the potential for increased collaboration.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting highlighted Kazakhstan’s role in leading the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, with Ambassador Kistafin outlining upcoming events in Kazakhstan. Minister Asif recognized the significant opportunities for expanding the partnership between the two nations, specifically in military, military-technical, and strategic sectors.
