Pakistan and Turkey Affirm Strong Bilateral Ties and Defense Cooperation

Islamabad, Today, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, H.E Mr. Mehmet Pacaci, met with Pakistan’s Minister for Defence, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, to reaffirm the strong bilateral relations and defense cooperation between the two nations.

According to Press Information Department, during the meeting, Minister Asif highlighted the deep-rooted connections between Pakistan and Turkey, which are based on shared faith, culture, values, civilization, and historical ties. The discussions covered the framework of their relationship, particularly through the High Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) and the High Level Military Dialogue Meetings, which involve both nations’ Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defence.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with their collaboration in key areas such as security, counterterrorism, and regional developments, reflecting their commitment to further strengthening their partnership in these critical sectors.
