Islamabad, In an effort to provide essential healthcare services, the Pakistan Army organized a mobile health unit in Spinwam, a tehsil of North Waziristan, offering free treatment and medical education to over 800 local residents.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the health camp targeted inhabitants of the Gulab Khel and Zakir Khel areas near the Pak-Afghan border. Attendees received a range of services including free medications, ultrasound scans, and access to a specialist lady doctor for women’s health issues. The initiative also included educational sessions on general hygiene and polio prevention, reflecting the army’s commitment to improving public health in the region.
The local community expressed gratitude for the healthcare services provided, highlighting the positive impact of the camp on their well-being.
