Islamabad: Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, has highlighted the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China as a cornerstone of peace, development, and stability in South Asia and the broader region.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Hashmi delivered these remarks at the World Peace Forum 2025, organized by Tsinghua University in Beijing. During his address, he praised China’s Global Security Initiative, Global Development Initiative, and Global Civilization Initiative, acknowledging them as vital frameworks that enhance dialogue and cooperation among nations.

Ambassador Hashmi expressed gratitude towards China for its significant role in supporting Pakistan’s development through strategic investments under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). These initiatives are pivotal in fostering not only bilateral relations but also in promoting regional stability and development.
