Special Investment Facilitation Council to Establish Business Facilitation Centers Across Pakistan

Islamabad: The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is spearheading efforts to set up Business Facilitation Centers (BFCs) throughout Pakistan, aiming to streamline the process for entrepreneurs and investors by providing a single point of access for various services.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, these centers, beginning in Islamabad and expanding to all provinces, will offer comprehensive services to both local and foreign investors. The services include the issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs), licenses, and permits, effectively removing hurdles for business startups. The initiative mirrors similar efforts in China, where business facilitation centers like those in Shenzhen provide a range of services under one roof, significantly easing the process for entrepreneurs.

The establishment of these centers is part of a broader effort to foster a more business-friendly environment in Pakistan, encouraging investment and economic growth by simplifying administrative procedures and reducing bureaucratic obstacles.
