Pakistan Day Commemorated with Flag Hoisting Ceremony in Brussels

Brussels, The Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels celebrated Pakistan Day with a ceremonial flag hoisting on Saturday, 23 March 2024, reflecting on the nation’s journey towards independence and its aspirations for the future. The event, characterized by the patriotic fervor of the Pakistani community in Belgium and Luxembourg, featured the recitation of the Holy Quran, the national anthem, and the reading of messages from Pakistan’s leadership.

According to Press Information Department, Ambassador Amna Baloch, along with Mr. Omar Hameed, Minister Economic, and Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the World Customs Organization, Syed Asad Rizvi, led the readings of the President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister’s messages. The Ambassador emphasized the historical sacrifices made by Muslims of the subcontinent and called for a renewed commitment towards enhancing Pakistan’s stature among the community of nations.

The ceremony saw a significant turnout from members of the Pakistani diaspora and embassy officials, underscoring the unity and patriotic spirit of Pakistanis abroad. The day served as a reminder of the enduring values and aspirations that continue to guide Pakistan towards progress and prosperity.
