Pakistan Engineering Council Opens Tender for Desktop Computer Procurement

Islamabad: The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has announced a tender for the procurement of desktop computers, adhering to the PPRA Rules 36(b) for the single-stage two-envelope procedure. This initiative is part of the council’s effort to upgrade and enhance its technological infrastructure. The tender is exclusive to companies and firms listed on the Active Tax Payers list of FBR and authorized dealers.

According to Pakistan Engineering Council, the tender documents are available for acquisition at the PEC headquarters in Islamabad during office hours, with a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000. Interested parties must submit their sealed bids/proposals by 2:00 PM on July 19, 2024. The submissions will be opened on the same day at 3:00 PM in the presence of bidders who wish to attend.

This tender represents an important step for the PEC in ensuring that its operations are supported by the latest technology, while also complying strictly with governmental procurement regulations to ensure transparency and fairness in the bidding process.
