Pakistan Enhances Space Capabilities with Launch of PakSat-MM1

Islamabad, Pakistan achieved a significant milestone in its space and communication efforts with today’s successful launch of the Pakistan Multi Mission Communication Satellite (PakSat-MM1), a state-of-the-art geostationary satellite designed to enhance the nation’s communication infrastructure.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, PakSat-MM1 is set to provide a substantial boost to Pakistan’s digital infrastructure, playing a pivotal role in the “Digital Pakistan” initiative aimed at creating a digitized ecosystem to foster economic growth and societal advancement. This satellite is expected to facilitate high-speed broadband internet to the most remote and underserved regions of Pakistan, improving connectivity and contributing to the socioeconomic development of these areas.
