Pakistan Expresses Grief on Passing of Namibia’s Founding Father Sam Nujoma

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Munir Akram has expressed deep grief and sorrow on the passing of Namibia’s founding father and former President, Sam Nujoma.

According to Radio Pakistan, in his condolence message, Ambassador Akram highlighted President Nujoma’s significant role in securing self-determination and independence for the people of Namibia. He emphasized that Nujoma’s efforts in the face of daunting odds will remain a significant part of the history of decolonization. The example set by Nujoma continues to inspire those still fighting for freedom and self-determination.
