Pakistan Government Cuts Petroleum Prices for the Coming Fortnight

Islamabad: In a move to alleviate financial pressures, the Pakistani government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products, including petrol and high-speed diesel, effective for the next fortnight.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the price of petrol will decrease by 6.17 rupees per liter, setting the new price at 269.43 rupees. Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel will see a reduction of 10.86 rupees per liter, bringing it down to 272.77 rupees. This price adjustment is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to manage economic variables in favor of the consumers.
