Lahore, August 26, 2014 (PPI-OT): PIAF-Founders Alliance will kick-start its election campaign by inaugurating its election office on September 02 at Lahore Railway Station near office of Pak Business Express.
The decision was made in the meeting of PIAF-Founders Alliance Steering Committee meeting chaired by its Chairman Mian Anjum Nisar. LCCI former presidents MianMuhammad Ashraf, Mian Shafqat Ali, Mian Misbah Rehman, Irfan Qaiser sheikh, syed Mohsin Raza Bukhari, Sheikh Muhammad Arshad, Shahid Hassan Sheikh, Mian Abuzar shad, Shahzad Ali Malik, Amjad Ali Jawa and Sheikh Muhammad Asif were present on the occasion.
PIAF-Founders Alliance has also decided that Mian Misbah ur Rehman and Sheikh Muhammad Arshad would be the group leaders for Corporate Class and Associate Class respectively. PIAF-Founders Alliance leaders pledged to continue to raise voice for the solution of the problems being faced by the business community.
Chairman of PIAF-Founders Alliance Mian Anjum Nisar said that PIAF-Founders Alliance had decided to introduce sector specialists as their candidates for the LCCI Executive Committee with the sole objective to forward solid proposals to the government for economic progress and prosperity.
They said that the names of the Alliance candidates would be announced soon as the same are being finalised with the consultation of market representatives. They said that despite unprecedented crisis at national level, all efforts were made to restore the confidence of the business community.
He hoped the business community would repose confidence in PIAF-Founders Alliance in the larger interests of the economy of the country. They said that the participation of large number of market representatives in the function was enough to make the point that the business community wanted continuity in the policies introduced by the PIAF-Founders Alliance.
