Islamabad, In a significant move towards bolstering economic ties, Pakistan and Korea have agreed to enhance their economic cooperation and jointly address mutual concerns to benefit both nations. This commitment was made during a meeting between Pakistan’s Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and the Korean Ambassador, alongside representatives from Korean companies operating in Pakistan.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during the meeting held in Islamabad today, Minister Aurangzeb highlighted the recent macroeconomic improvements in Pakistan, including a positive trend in foreign exchange reserves. He assured the Korean business community of the government’s commitment to resolving the challenges faced by Korean companies in Pakistan and called for enhanced facilitation for their operations.
The Korean Ambassador commended the Pakistani government’s economic policies and the strong bilateral relations between the two countries. He pointed out the potential for further collaboration that remains largely untapped. Additionally, representatives from Korean companies discussed their specific concerns with the Minister, particularly regarding project timelines and operational efficiency.
