Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan share friendly bilateral relations: Envoy

Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan share friendly bilateral relations with a focus on economic cooperation and regional connectivity.

This was stated by Kyrgyz Ambassador to Pakistan Totuiaev Ulanbek Asankulovich while participating in an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan’s Planet FM 87.6 in Islamabad today.

The Ambassador said Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan are engaged in mutual cooperation in different areas including trade and regional security to strengthen existing ties and promote shared interests.

Replying to a question, the ambassador said that both Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have potential to collaborate in various fields including tourism and pharmaceuticals.

About educational opportunities for Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan, he said 12,000 Pakistani students including 10,000 in medical field have accessed to diverse educational opportunities in his country with affordable fee of 1500 to 1600 dollars in various fields of study.

Talking about opportunities for tourism, he said Kyrgyzstan hosts stunning natural landscape, including mountains, lakes, and rich cultural heritage, making it a compelling destination for adventurous and culturally-inclined tourists.

On the occasion, the Director General Radio Pakistan Muhammad Tahir Hassan presented a souvenir to the Kyrgyz ambassador.
