Pakistan Marks 77th Independence Anniversary with Ceremonial Observances in Tehran

Tehran: Pakistan House Tehran hosted a ceremonial event today to commemorate the 77th anniversary of Pakistan’s Independence, attended by members of the Pakistani community and embassy officials. The event featured the hoisting of the national flag and readings from messages of Pakistan’s President and Prime Minister, celebrating the nation’s journey and aspirations.

According to Press Information Department, Charge d’ Affaires Mr. Ahmad Shami paid tribute to the leaders of the Pakistan movement, including Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, acknowledging their sacrifices for the creation of an independent Muslim state. He encouraged the Pakistani diaspora to serve their country with unwavering dedication and highlighted the enduring fraternal ties between Pakistan and Iran, emphasizing the upward trajectory of their bilateral relations.
