Pakistan Navy Deploys PNS YARMOOK for Regional Maritime Security Patrol

Islamabad: The Pakistan Navy has announced the deployment of the PNS YARMOOK, a warship equipped with an embarked helicopter, to patrol the Indian Ocean and enhance the security of commercial shipping routes to and from Pakistani ports.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during its mission, the PNS YARMOOK will engage in both independent and joint operations with allied nations to promote a safe and secure maritime environment. The deployment also includes port visits for naval diplomacy, aligning with Pakistan’s foreign policy goals.

The initiative reflects Pakistan Navy’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the freedom of navigation and ensuring the security of international sea lanes.
