Pakistan Railways Launches Safety Awareness Campaign

Islamabad: In a concerted effort to enhance public safety, Pakistan Railways has initiated an extensive awareness campaign focused on the dangers associated with trespassing, track crossing, and the transportation of prohibited items.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, a railway official reported to APP that the campaign utilizes print, electronic, and social media to educate the public on safe train travel practices. This initiative aims to mitigate risks and ensure passenger safety by disseminating crucial information throughout the community.

The official also mentioned that divisional superintendents have been instructed to rigorously check passengers’ luggage at all entry points to further enforce safety regulations and prevent the carriage of forbidden items.
