Pakistan Sends 8th Shipment of Aid to Gaza

Islamabad, As part of its humanitarian support for the people of Gaza, the Government of Pakistan, through the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), has coordinated with Al-Khidmat to send an eighth shipment of relief aid. The consignment is being transported by a commercial cargo ship from South Asia Pakistan Terminal (SAPT) in Karachi to Said Port in Egypt, where it will be further distributed to the people of Gaza.

According to Press Information Department, the send-off ceremony was attended by Additional Foreign Secretary Mr. Ahmed Amjad Ali, Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan Mr. Ahmad Rabaie, representatives of Al-Khidmat Foundation, senior officials of NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Armed Forces. The shipment comprises 350 tons of aid, including medicines, hygiene kits, female dignity kits, dry ration, ready-to-eat food, jerry cans, and tents to meet Gaza’s needs.

This eighth relief consignment follows six earlier shipments that included 630 tons of aid, providing special winterized tents, blankets, surgical supplies, medicines, and food packs. The Government of Pakistan and NDMA are continuing their efforts to support the people of Gaza during this critical time, ensuring that essential supplies reach those in need.
