Pakistan Showcases Diplomatic Prowess Amidst India Conflict: Tarar

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that Pakistan has consistently raised its voice against the oppression faced by the indigenous and innocent people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing the launching ceremony of Former Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry’s book, ‘Pakistan-India Relations – Fractured Past, Uncertain Future’, in Islamabad on Monday, he stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will present Pakistan’s case at the upcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly later this month.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Information Minister emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir remains the biggest dispute between Pakistan and India. He reiterated that while Pakistan continues to pursue the path of peace, it has made it clear that any attempt by the enemy to establish military dominance will end in failure, as the nation stands united in its defense.

He said in the recent conflict, Pakistan not only established its military might with a befitting response but also displayed an exemplary and superior diplomacy. Attaullah Tarar said Pakistan has never been the aggressor but always defended its frontiers. He said armed forces of Pakistan have always played a great role in defending the motherland.

Attaullah Tarar also highlighted that the rise of the Hindutva ideology in India has made life increasingly difficult for minorities.
