Islamabad, Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited has announced the scheduling of its Seventy Seventh Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Wednesday, 24th April 2024. The meeting is set to take place at the Serena Hotel, Islamabad and will also be accessible electronically. This notice, as per the compliance with Clause 5.6.9(b) of the PSX Rule Book, is slated for publication in both English and Urdu newspapers on Tuesday, 2nd April 2024. Furthermore, it will be disseminated among the shareholders along with the Annual Report for the year ended 31st December 2023.
The AGM agenda includes the reception, consideration, and adoption of the audited accounts for the year concluded on 31st December 2023, alongside the Directors’ and Auditors’ reports. Additionally, the meeting will deliberate on the Board of Directors’ recommendation for a Final Dividend set at Rs. 0/- for the year ended 31st December 2023. The appointment of auditors and the determination of their remuneration will also be key points of discussion during the meeting.
