Pakistani Expatriates Honored with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for Contributions to Kashmir Cause and Social Services

Islamabad, In recognition of their significant contributions to the Kashmir cause and exceptional social services, Pakistani expatriates Abdul Hafeez Khan and Salman Khan have been awarded the prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan. This civilian honor highlights the impactful work and dedication of Pakistanis residing abroad towards humanitarian and political advocacy efforts.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Abdul Hafeez Khan, based in the USA, and Salman Khan, residing in South Africa, have been distinguished for their efforts and achievements in supporting both the Kashmiri struggle and various philanthropic initiatives. Abdul Hafeez Khan was presented the award by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US, Sardar Masood Khan, at a ceremony in the Pakistani Embassy in Washington, while Salman Khan received his honor during a function held in South Africa.

Abdul Hafeez Khan is recognized not only as a successful businessman but also as a compassionate individual who has significantly contributed to relief efforts, particularly during the devastating floods that hit Pakistan in 2022. He played a pivotal role in the construction of houses and repair of damaged structures for flood-affected communities in Mangrotha village, Taunsa district. His Razak Foundation is known for its proactive role in providing support to those in dire need.
