Pakistan’s Capital on High Alert for Dengue Prevention During Rainy Season

Islamabad, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has issued directives to the Federal Capital’s administration to enhance vigilance and preventive measures against dengue in light of the upcoming rainy season. This includes accelerating drainage efforts in low-lying areas and strict adherence to the anti-dengue action plan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, The Minister contacted Chairman Capital Development Authority and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, emphasizing the importance of executing the established anti-dengue protocols. These measures aim to mitigate the risk of dengue spread, ensuring public health safety amid seasonal rainfalls.
