Pakistan’s Envoy to UAE Stresses on Business Collaboration to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Islamabad, At a recent Iftar event hosted at the Embassy, Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Envoy to the United Arab Emirates, highlighted the potential for enhanced business-to-business collaboration as a key driver for strengthening the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and the UAE.

According to Press Information Department, Ambassador Tirmizi paid homage to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s visionary leadership, noting the UAE’s transformation into a global business and cultural nexus. The event was attended by prominent Pakistani professionals and local Emirati dignitaries, reflecting the deep-rooted ties between the two nations.

Tirmizi recounted the historical connection, mentioning Pakistan’s early diplomatic engagement with the UAE and shared anecdotes of significant figures in the bilateral relationship, like Pakistani banker Ch. Zafar Iqbal. Furthermore, the Ambassador announced improvements in consular services, including the inauguration of a new Consular Hall expected by August, highlighting the supportive role of the Pakistani and Emirati communities in these endeavors.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of enhancing educational facilities to cater to the growing Pakistani community in the UAE, calling for investments in this sector. Acknowledging the dynamic and multifaceted nature of the Pakistan-UAE relations, Tirmizi pointed out that fostering business interactions is essential for future growth and mutual benefits, reinforcing a partnership that spans over five decades.
