Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today expressed his appreciation to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, for his warm greetings on Pakistan’s Independence Day. This exchange underscores the close relationship between the two nations, built on mutual respect and shared goals.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in a message shared via his official X account, Prime Minister Sharif thanked the UAE leadership for their consistent support in Pakistan’s aspirations for peace, progress, and prosperity. He voiced optimism about the future, emphasizing the potential for enhanced cooperation and mutual development between the two countries.

The UAE’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Alzaabi, also conveyed his congratulations, reaffirming the strong bond between Pakistan and the UAE, which he described as founded on cooperation and friendship. This diplomatic exchange highlights the ongoing commitment to strengthening ties and supporting each other on international platforms.
