Pakistan’s Senate and National Assembly Convene for Key Sessions in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Senate and National Assembly are scheduled to meet today at the Parliament House, with significant agendas including legislative business and national issues up for discussion.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the National Assembly’s agenda includes two calling attention notices related to the Interior Ministry and a discussion on the Presidential address to the recent joint sitting of Parliament. Meanwhile, the Senate is set to commence its session at four pm, where, aside from legislative matters, it will engage in discussions on important national issues, reflecting the government’s focus on addressing current challenges and policy directions.

These sessions underscore the legislative bodies’ ongoing efforts to deliberate and navigate through complex national affairs, ensuring that governance and legislative oversight continue to function effectively.
