Pishin Administration Commits to Strengthening Education, Addressing Teacher Absenteeism

Pishin: Deputy Commissioner Captain Retired Juma Dad Khan Mandukhel emphasized a strict no-compromise policy on education within the district, with a particular focus on boosting teacher attendance and addressing absenteeism. This commitment was voiced during a recent meeting with the District Education Group.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting saw participation from District Education Officer Zaman Khan Tareen and various District Development Officers including Orangiz Kakar, Syed Meraj Agha, and Syed Abdul Ghani Shah. Mandukhel outlined measures to enhance educational standards, including incentivizing good performance among teachers while taking decisive actions against those frequently absent.

The Deputy Commissioner also addressed the logistical challenges faced by teachers commuting from remote areas, proposing adjustments to their assignments closer to their homes to alleviate transportation issues. This initiative aims to ensure that all schools across the district’s Tehsils and Union Councils can provide quality education effectively.

The discussion concluded with a commitment to resolving legitimate grievances of the teaching staff, thereby fostering a more conducive environment for education in Pishin.
