Islamabad, Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has called on Pakistani businessmen to fully leverage the opportunities presented by the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to enhance trade and business prospects.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Minister’s remarks were made as he bid farewell to a delegation of 126 Pakistani businessmen embarking on a visit to China. He emphasized the importance of expanding Pakistan-China trade beyond goods and services to include education, technology, research, innovation, agricultural cooperation, and infrastructure development. Iqbal urged the businessmen to adopt business practices from their Chinese counterparts to boost productivity and contribute to the government’s economic recovery efforts.
