Karachi, May 23, 2012 (PPI-OT): This is to inform you that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Haseeb Waqas Sugar Mills Limited (HWQS), will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the registered office of the company situated at 06-F, Model Town, Lahore, to consider Half Yearly Accounts for the half year ended on March 31, 2012.

As required under clause xxiii of the code of corporate governance, we would like to inform you that the company has determined a Closed Period from May 23, 2012 to May 31, 2012 (both days inclusive). No Director, CEO or Executive of the company is entitled, directly or indirectly, to deal in the shares of the Company in any manner during the closed period.
