Karachi, The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has announced that preparations are well underway for the 19th My Karachi Oasis of Harmony International Exhibition. The event, set to occupy all six halls of the Karachi Expo Center from August 2 to August 4, 2024, will feature an array of recreational facilities alongside its traditional offerings.
According to Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the exhibition aims to showcase the diverse economic opportunities within Karachi and highlight its softer image to both local and international audiences. Iftikhar Ahmed Sheikh, President of KCCI, emphasized the importance of the event during the first meeting of the Special Committee for My Karachi Exhibition. The meeting, chaired by Muhammad Idrees, also discussed enhancements for this year’s event, including the incorporation of sectors like Alternate Energy and IT, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
The event, initially planned for February, was rescheduled to August due to general elections. This year, the exhibition will also host a mango festival and is expected to attract a broad spectrum of participants from various industries, reflecting its status as a key economic and cultural showcase for the city.
